Engineering Consultancy – Our engineering consultancy services include bridge and civil engineering structure design, strengthening and repair design and supervision, and feasibility and option reports. The Inertia Consulting team are highly experienced in the analysis, design and detailing of road, rail and waterway bridges, and other civil engineering structures. These projects span both permanent and temporary works. Specific element analysis capabilities include complex static, dynamic and non-linear methods, including footfall analysis of sensitive structures, track-structure interaction analysis, blast analysis, building analysis and virtual wind tunnel modelling.
Bridge Inspection – The Inertia Consulting team has many years of experience in managing, undertaking and reporting on bridge inspections across the UK and overseas. Our unrivalled expertise makes us the first choice for high quality bridge inspections on road, rail and water infrastructures. Projects range from single bridge inspections to extensive stock management programmes.
Non-destructive testing – Our range of non-destructive testing and structural investigation services combines traditional and advanced techniques to provide a one-stop shop that enables you to manage your structural assets effectively.
Inertia Consulting offer competitive salary packages and an ICE approved training scheme to help newly qualified civil engineers progress towards chartered status with the ICE. Candidates are supported by an experienced team of engineers. The Inertia Consulting approach of offering all services related to bridge and heavy civil engineering allow newly qualified civil engineers to broad experience across the full life pan of a structure, from permanent works design, temporary works design, site supervision, inspection, assessment, strengthening, refurbishment and demolition.
